Background
Adnan B. Virani, CAIA®, CTP®, Executive Director, joined SCM in 2026 and has investment experience since 2011. Adnan is a Senior Client Strategist and primarily works with institutional clients such as governments, not-for-profits, and family offices. From 2015-2022, he was Head of Consultant Relations and a Senior Institutional Client Strategist for SCM, working with clients and consultants to formulate investment solutions. Prior to re-joining SCM, he served as Head of Capital Markets and Investor Relations at FD Stonewater and HRI Hospitality, where he managed relationships and sourced new capital for fund, joint venture, and direct project investments. During that time, he further expanded his network across institutional clients. Before SCM, he worked in the institutional business group at PIMCO working primarily with consultant relations and institutions clients. Adnan received his B.S. in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his M.Ed. from Harvard Graduate school of Education. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® and Certified Treasury Professional® designations.
