Background
Alex M. Harshberger, CFA®, Director, joined Sterling Capital Management in 2016 and has investment experience since 2013. Alex is a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. Previously she was a Quantitative Research Analyst. Prior to Sterling, she was a senior actuarial analyst with Willis Towers Watson. Prior to Willis Towers Watson, she worked as a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. Alex received her B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, where she was a summa cum laude graduate, and her M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Sussex. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Associate of the Society of Actuaries designations.
