Holly van den Toorn

Background

Holly van den Toorn, Director, joined SCM in 2024 and has industry experience since 2000. Holly is Senior Legal Counsel for Guardian Capital and SCM. She provides legal advice to SCM and its U.S. affiliates and liaises with Guardian Capital's legal team on U.S. legal matters. She began her career with Fifth Third Asset Management, first as Fixed Income Trading and Operations Manager and subsequently as Compliance Officer. At RidgeWorth Capital Management, she served as Vice President and Legal and Compliance Manager for the RidgeWorth Funds and after its acquisition by Virtus Investment Partners, she served as Vice President and Legal Counsel to Virtus, its affiliates and registered funds. Holly received her B.A. with Honors from Grand Valley State University and her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law.
