Background
Mark Montgomery, CFA®, Senior Managing Director, joined SCM in 1997 and has investment experience since 1990. Mark is Chief Investment Officer and Head of Fixed Income. Prior to joining SCM, he held a number of positions at The Vanguard Group. He began his fixed income career working on Vanguard’s taxable index bond team and later joined the municipal group working with their long-term and high-yield portfolio management team. Mark received his B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Public Administration from West Chester University and his M.B.A with a concentration in Investment Management from Drexel University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
