Background
Philip Apelles, Associate Director, joined SCM in 2022 following his recent graduation from The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. During school, Philip was a senior portfolio manager on the Jefferson Fund, a $5.8 million long-only equity portfolio that is part of the student run endowment. He also earned a certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute. Philip is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics.
